The Synology RackStation RS1626xs+ is a high-performance 1U 4-bay rackmount NAS enclosure designed for demanding business, enterprise and professional storage environments. Powered by an Intel Xeon D-1726 6-core processor with 12 threads and equipped with 16GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory, the RS1626xs+ provides a powerful foundation for centralized file storage, backup, collaboration and enterprise data management.
The RS1626xs+ features four 3.5-inch SATA HDD or 2.5-inch SATA SSD bays plus two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots for cache or storage pools. Its built-in dual 10GbE RJ-45 ports deliver high-speed networking, while the PCIe Gen4 x8 expansion slot supports additional networking options such as 10/25GbE adapters. With an optional RX1225RP expansion unit, storage can scale to up to 16 drives.
