The Environ CL series of multi-compartment floor-standing racks are designed for co-location installations and for applications that require advanced levels of access security. This range is based on the chassis of the ER series, already tested and very popular. It is available in 42U and 47U height, 600 mm or 800 mm width, in gray white or black and in 2 or 4 compartments. Each compartment is created by means of a panel serving as a separation over the entire depth, from the front to the rear of the bay. It serves as both a divider and an assembly shelf if needed. Each compartment includes front and rear equipment mounting channels.

On the standard version, the front and rear doors are honeycomb and each includes hinged handles fitted with a 3-digit key and code lock. The entire range of Environ locking solutions are compatible with the CL series allowing customers to choose between digital key code and proximity card. For greater flexibility, lock styles can be mixed on the same bay; for example, if certain security levels are desired for certain compartments, due to customer preferences, or the material stored in the compartment. Cable entries and exits are provided via a full height multi-section containment system, mounted centrally between the equipment mounting rails which are located at the rear. This system is designed to allow complete segregation of cables between compartments. Entry and exit points are located at the top and base of the bay. They are protected by brush seals.
