For enhanced flexibility, the BaseBox5 includes additional space for up to three more antenna connectors. This allows you to use the miniPCIe slot for adding a second wireless interface, such as a dual-band device or a 3G/4G modem, expanding your network capabilities.
The enclosure is built for ease of use, with a one-handed opening mechanism and protection against the elements. Essential ports, including USB, Ethernet, and a grounding wire exit, are all located at the bottom, behind a protective door. The BaseBox5 also comes with a mounting loop for easy tower or pole mounting, and a DIN rail mount is included for alternative installations.
Included in the package are a PoE injector and power supply unit, making the BaseBox5 a complete and reliable solution for outdoor wireless setups.
